Founded by anthropologist Dr. Nasser Abufarha, who was raised among the farmlands of Jenin and shaped by the deep land-based traditions of Palestinian farming communities, Canaan Palestine is rooted in a devotion to heritage, sustainability, and the enduring resilience of its people. Built on Fair Trade principles and Regenerative Organic practices, Canaan supports thousands of small family farms across Palestine. Their work preserves time-honoured methods while creating new pathways for ethical production, community stability, and ecological stewardship.
